BASE SYSTEM
The base package employs a 300-watt, all-black panel from the Canadian manufacturer Silfab Solar. These panels are made in North America and carry an outstanding 25-year product and 30-year power output warranty.  The panels are paired with all-black Snap-N-Rack racking and a Solar Edge inverter system utilizing state-of-the-art, per-panel production optimizers and free online monitoring. This base package is $3.15 per watt.

In addition to the base system, Neighborhood Solar is offering the following options:

MID EFFICIENCY MODULES
This package utilizes either an LG335w or an LG320w black-on-black panel, both for an additional $0.40 per watt.

HIGH EFFICIENCY MODULES
This package includes either the premium SunPower 335w black-on-black panels or a SunPower 360w panel. These are both an additional $0.90 per watt.

SOLAR HOT WATER

The base package employs two 4' x 8' flat-plate collectors with aluminum racking, stainless steel flexible linseed piping, and an 80-gallon stainless steel solar storage tank with lifetime warranty. The system is unpressurized, glycol filled, and utilizes a "drain-back" feature. As such, it is immune to overheating, freezing, and over pressurization. Using stainless steel tanks and drain-back systems maximizes longevity and minimizes maintenance requirements. With proper maintenance, the system should perform well for 20 years or more.​
